What you will not find on this pack
Some of these words are illegal. The rest we simply have not earned.
Every cleaning brand reaches for the same vocabulary. Two of these sets carry legal consequences, and the third is just a promise nobody checked. We publish the ingredient list instead.
Words that would make this a pesticide
Under US federal law (FIFRA), a cleaning product that claims to act on germs is a pesticide and must be registered with the EPA. Ours is not registered, so it does not make those claims.
